We feed a waterproof camera on a flexible rod through your sewer line and watch the inside of the pipe on a monitor in real time. It shows the actual condition of the line rather than a guess based on symptoms.

Shut off the water. For one fixture, use the stop valve directly behind or under it. For anything larger, use the main shutoff — typically near the water meter or on the street-facing side of the house. If you cannot find it, we will talk you through it on the phone.

If a water heater is leaking, shut off its water supply and cut the power to it: flip the breaker for an electric unit, or turn the gas control to off for a gas one. Never leave an electric water heater energized once the tank has drained.

For a sewage backup, stop running water anywhere in the house — that includes dishwashers and washing machines on a cycle, which will keep pumping into a line that has nowhere to drain. Then clear a path to the cleanout and the affected fixtures so we can get straight to work.
